I had a great time working with my friends over at General Mills to create this opening two-page spread magazine ad. It was a fun visual that seemed appropriate for the excitement of “ice cream for breakfast.” Because the product hadn’t come out yet at the time I was creating the ad, I was only given flat PDFs of the box artwork and a shot of a bowl full of each type of cereal. I constructed box renderings from the flat files, found milk imagery, incorporated extracted cereal pieces, and designed the two page spread advertisement to split down the gutter for a fun effect.

It was a pleasure working with the team over at The Clorox Company on this ad for their new Brita bottles. The copy was ready to go, and I was able to help provide the visual to tell the story. A clean, Swiss-esque style seemed the way to go, and they agreed.

General Mills wanted to run an ad promoting their cross-promotion with DreamWorks’ Trolls World Tour and trusted me with the execution. Aside from providing the product imagery, the direction was, “we want a fun Trolls-themed ad.” This one had a few extra hoops since it had to be cleared by both entities, but the process was smooth. I was happy with the simple and effective copy, and definitely felt that it ended up exuding fun.

An ad for the good folks over at Mentholatum. With just a jpeg of the product and product description to work with, I came up with the accompanying illustrations, copy, and treatment, and feel like this landed in a good spot.

Also part of The Clorox Company, the Kingsford crew came to me with the need for an ad celebrating the charcoal company’s centennial. I utilized elements from the special edition packaging and the feeling of togetherness that is inherent in a great backyard BBQ.
