If you have not heard of Motopony, now you have and you are welcome—you would have soon anyway. This band from Seattle, WA is an odd blend of folk, electronic, rock, magic, and spirit.
When I was asked to create the imagery for their new EP Idle Beauty, I was excited to get to work. Upon hearing the songs, there was a sense of the past meeting the present in a sonic soundscape that painted a picture of standing on the beach under the moon and dancing free with lifelong friends.
This collaboration with singer Daniel Blue produced a geometric logo and cover that embodies the peace and atmosphere the band embraces so fondly.
